Aircraft Non Destructive Testing

Non Destructive Testing (NDT) allows to conduct a thorough inspection of various aircraft components without disassembling them. The need for such technologies has been developing along with the rising complexity of aircraft and increasing utilization of composite materials (50% of Boeing 787 Dreamliner components are made of composites). In this video FL Technics investigates one of the most basic NDT methods -- borescope inspection.
