Consumers Association of Penang; Consumers End Up Paying More For Online Tickets
The Consumers Association of Penang or C-A-P wants the Ministry of Transport to look into issues related to online booking of flight tickets.
C-A-P President S.M. Mohd Indris says certain clauses in the bookings are confusing for the consumers.
S. M. Mohd Idris said the clauses cause problems to consumers especially if the flights are cancelled or rescheduled by the airline itself.
Another issue of concern was the prices listed initially prior to finalising the booking were different from the final price.
The normal excuse given was that the initial price did not include taxes, surcharges and insurance.
