Disney College Program │#38: Jared and I Take on the “World” (Part 1)

October 11th, 2014

Finally the day had come! My poor boyfriend was home alone for 5 months but for two full days he was able to take on the “world” with me in Florida. He flew Allegiant (like I did to get here), and so he was able to get really cheap flights, and then he booked a cheap hotel (which ended up getting upgraded)! The entire trip ended up only costing him about $500 because I got free park admission for him, and we used cast discounts on everything we could. I picked him up from the airport Friday evening, dropped him off at his hotel, and then picked him up the next morning. We went to Animal Kingdom Lodge for breakfast, then Animal Kingdom itself, then went to Chik-Fil-A for lunch (which no normal guest knows is only a couple miles from AK) before heading to Hollywood Studios for a little bit. We ended the evening at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. It was the most magical evening in my entire life, thus far. It was definitely different experiencing Disney as a guest, than as a cast member off work. This was the first time I felt like I was on vacation while living in Florida. IT. WAS. AMAZING. Absolutely amazing.
