EgyptAir flight goes missing with 66 people onboard

An EgyptAir flight has gone missing with 66 people onboard while heading from Paris to Cairo.
According to the airline, flight MS-804 left the French capital just after 21:00 GMT and disappeared from radar inside the Egyptian airspace nearly four hours later. EgyptAir says the plane’s emergency devices sent a distress signal less than 10 minutes before it went missing. Experts say the aircraft probably crashed into the Mediterranean. France has set up a crisis unit led by President Francois Hollande. Prime Minister Manuel Valls says no theory can be ruled out in investigating the incident. This is the second unfortunate incident for Egypt’s national air carrier since the beginning of this year. In March, an EgyptAir plane flying from Alexandria to Cairo was hijacked and forced to land in Cyprus.

Press TV’s Mohamed Shalaby in Cairo gives us the details about the missing Egyptian plane.
