Hoverboard Flying Skateboard Octocopter! DIY GPS Auto-Pilot Multi-Rotor Drone




What a great project this has been! This DIY octocopter aircraft has been brought together by an old skateboard deck. She flies super smooth and is equipped with the following:

Motors: DJI 2212/920
Air-frame: F550 Arms and Skateboard Deck (Four wood screws each)
ESC: 30A Standard (BEC OPTIONAL)
Flight Controller: DJI Naza-M V2 with AutoPilot
GPS: DJI Naza-M V2
Batteries: 2 x 5000mAh 4S LiPos (Plan to consolidate to one 10000mAh 4S)
Safety Features: Voltage Alarm, Backup glitch power to balance plug desired, Self locking threads and nuts, Motor failure redundancy
Extras: 4 x Auxiliary power plugs for cameras, gimbal, and lighting
PowerBoard: Custom 10 gauge power backbone on bottom of board (Basically connect all esc power to battery power)
BEC: DJI PMU Unit
Receiver: Walkera rx601
Transmitter: Walkera Devo F12E
Propeller: Walkera X350 Pro Props
