Operations at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (J.K.I.A) were also interrupted with regards to flights plying the Europe route. British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, KLM and Kenya Airways flying to London are some of the passenger aircrafts grounded at J.K.I.A's remote parking. This is set to affect business travelers to Europe. Cargo aircraft grounded include Martin Air and Air France. The flower industry in Kenya has also been severely affected as flower firms cannot export their produce.
