Let’s motorise that cheap plane kit

Elnufo commented on my fan driven toy delivery van that it might be fun to mount that electric drive unit into an aeroplane body which is hung down from the ceiling. With the string placed at the centre of gravity that will work just fine 🙂
I decided to modify the fighter plane kit that my grandson assembled before Christmas and use a single AAA battery to power it. That was a bad move as you will see as it makes the plane too heavy and it is underpowered so I might have another go sometime with a LiPo battery.

Generally my projects are for my grandchildren to enjoy. OK, I enjoy them too. If anybody else likes them, that is a bonus. I like to keep my work as simple and basic as possible so that it can be copied easily and improved by anybody who wants to try themselves. I recycle or repurpose items rather than buy new and when I do buy I like to keep it cheap.
