Letter From An Airline Pilot – 1950s

"Letter From an Airline Pilot" describes the working of a 1950s-era airline from the point of view of a pilot. It covers most aspect of the operation - from the booking systems, construction of the aircraft, through to catering and navigation.

It's a fascinating look at how things were done back in the pre-jet (and post war) age of aviation. The documentary features a Lockheed L-1049 Super Constellation - barely a few years old when the film was made.
