There are a lot of cheap activities in Oahu, Hawaii that you can participate in. One of the most popular activities is to visit the USS Arizona National Memorial. This memorial is open year round, seven days a week with the exclusion of holidays like Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. It is open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This is a free attraction and guided tours, a boat ride to the ship and the presentation of a documentary film on the attack on Pearl Harbor. If you are interested in outdoor cheap activities in Oahu, Hawaii then you may want to visit the Diamond Head Recreation Area. Here you will be able to hike to summit on a historic trail. It is recommended that you have on good hiking boots and that you bring water and a flashlight with you. It is important to stay on the trail while visiting this attraction. This park is designated as a day park and the tunnel gates close at 6 p.m.

If you want a cheap tour then you can take a 50 minute self-guided audio tour for about 40 percent less than the guided tour or you can simply take a gallery tour without a guide for about $6 for adults and $3 for kids between 5 and 12. To get into the park there is a nominal fee of about $5. If you have your own snorkeling equipment then the $5 is all you have to pay for a day's worth of fun. However, if you don't have your own equipment you can easily it for under $15.
