Rubber Powered Aircraft Based on F200 indoor free flight PART #6

PART #6 Indoor rubber band powered styrofoam plate plane based on F200 indoor free flight – Split into 6 episodes. I just fancied trying to make one of these from styrofoam plates, but I didn’t have any balsa wood for the other components so I had to improvise. The end result does fly when I tried it in my garden and after a bit of trimming it flew well enough to get into my neighbors garden.

My effort was inspired by this video by MouseSquadron – F200 – Indoor Rubber powered model aircraft
In his replies to comments he gave this link

This one by Livingroom Flight looks great too – Ikara Butterfly – custom build balsa wood and tissue covered indoor living room airplane
I believe it is based on this one by Hardy Cheung – Butterfly Indoor Airplane

Generally my projects are for my grandchildren to enjoy. OK, I enjoy them too. If anybody else likes them, that is a bonus. I like to keep my work as simple and basic as possible so that it can be copied easily and improved by anybody who wants to try themselves. I recycle or repurpose items rather than buy new and when I do buy I like to keep it cheap.

My “GrandadsOtherChannel” channel is generally where I will host the videos that give extra detail or longer versions of the videos I post on my main channel
