Another cheap day out courtesy of a budget airline. This time we headed for the beautiful Northern Italian city of Milan. Somewhere I’d not yet been to but was definitely on my list of places. A month of two back I was browsing Ryanair website searching for somewhere new and interesting to go and when I saw return flights for £28 – Yes! £14 each way, why not?
A beautiful day for flying, mainly clear skies much of the way across the continent or broken cloud at least giving some nice views of the Southern coastline of the UK and then into mainland Europe. Passed over the top of lots of airports and airfields the ones I could recognise I added it on screen for you, such as Manston, Brussels & Zurich. Before starting a very scenic descent over the Alps and into sunny Milan. Some beautiful views of the mountains, rivers and lakes which make up the Alps.
Flight was very full, must’ve been very few empty seats onboard if any at all.

I did film only the departure from Milan taken later this same evening, however it was dark. But the weather wasn’t good at all. Lots of thunder, lightening and heavy rain caused us an hour delay. But look out for that video.
