Solar Impulse 2 Airplane First Flight – Maiden Flight Best-Of
The solar airplane Solar Impulse 2 performed its #First Flight on June 2 in Switzerland. The experimental solar aircraft successfully landed after a maiden flight of 2 hours 17 minutes! Learn more about the First Flight of Solar Impulse 2 here:

Our challenge is to attempt the First Round-The-World Solar Flight in 2015. A way for Bertrand Piccard, André Borschberg and their team to demonstrate how pioneering spirit, innovation and clean technologies can change the world.
