The last DC-10 in Europe! – Retirement flight before scrapping (HD)

This video features footage of the last flight, of the last civilian DC-10 in Europe!

N495DC (former Z-ALT) departed from Liege, Belgium bound for Bangor and then on to Crestview Bob Sikes where she ended her days; being 34 years old.

After push-back, they had engine problems and after 25 minutes, they had to return to the parking stand. This gave us an opportunity to drive to the other side of the airport to capture the takeoff when they had finally solved the problems.

Video recorded 12 July 2013.
